How did the need arise?
Kenyan church leaders asked SOWERS to come and train them and their churches. An exploratory visit was made mid-2011 and this confirmed for the Kenyans and for SOWERS that both parties wanted to move ahead.
Project purpose
When funding arrives, we plan for Emmanuel to revisit Kenya. He will conduct the first full round of training, follow up on other contacts from the first visit, and investigate options and costs of relocating from Zambia with his family. The intention is that he spearheads the work in Kenya until the establishment of a Kenyan board to oversee the work.
