How did the need arise?
A warm reception greets SOWERS staff as they arrive to conduct training in outdoor evangelism. Even though SOWERS is only recently in Uganda, Level 3 Sowers are already training new Level 1 Sowers and encouraging existing teams. Inevitably there are costs in developing the work further - e.g. printing. Some of these are recovered from trainees, but not all.
Project purpose
In 2012 it is planned to bring some of the Level 3s to Level 4. As training is completed at each level, the work is increasingly done by Ugandans. At this stage of development, Ugandan Level 3 Sowers need to visit and encourage existing teams, make sure those counseled are followed up properly, promote SOWERS and then train churches at Level 1.
Who will do it?
Development is transitioning to Ugandans under the supervision of Regional Director Selwyn S.
