From ... Malawi National Board
The demands for training keep growing. Malawi Central Region needs another part time Sower to train churches who are crying out for it. Could you or your church or small group adopt this work?
How did the need arise?
The Mchinji and Kasungu districts are calling for training, and we don't have the resources to respond.
Project purpose
Mark M is trained, ready and willing to go in a part time capacity to nourish and develop the SOWERS work in those districts. The people are calling, the worker is ready, the results are amazing. He writes:
In the year 2011, these are some of the happenings that we have done from January to December.
A. TRAININGS
Level 1 - 20 people
Level 2 - 5 Teams = 46 people (Msemwe, Kahtyuka, Msukwala, Guillime and Tembwe)
Level 3 - 2 people (Rev L. Chinjala and Marko C)
B. OPEN AIR MEETINGS
We had 40 open air meetings
a. 1860 people heard the Gospel,
b. 890 people were counselled
c. 430 people are being followed-up
d. 2 churches were planted
e. 560 people joined the church
C. NIGHT OF PRAYER We had two of them
a. 17th Sept 2011Kathyuka River of Life (SOWERS Prayer Day)
b. 10th Nov 2011 Kamwendo Baptist Church
D. VISITATION I visited these teams:
a. Tembwe b. Msukwala c. Mkangeni d. Guillime e. Kathyuka f. Msemwe g. Kamwendo
I have not visited the Teams in Mchinji Boma. Next year 2012, I will visit all the teams if God allows.
