TOGETHER FOR THE HARVEST
Like the Olympic torch, the Gospel is a divine flame—lighting nations, warming hearts, and driving out darkness. This fire comes from God, as on Pentecost (Acts 2:3), but for it to shine, two roles are vital: the torchbearer and the flame-feeder.
The torchbearer is the missionary, evangelist, or believer who steps into darkness to proclaim Christ. Without fire, he’s just a man with a stick. He needs prayer and support to keep the flame alive.
The flame-feeder is the intercessor and the partner. Without oil, even the finest lamp goes out (Matthew 25:8). Intercessors fuel the fire through prayer; donors provide the resources that keep it burning. Together, they make the mission possible.
The torch must never fall. In every generation, God seeks hands to carry it and hearts to sustain it. One day, both will share the same reward.

AUSTRALIA
Praise
- For God`s provision in 2025 that has enabled us to meet all financial obligations and provide funding for projects.
- For Godfrey`s ministry in NSW and safe and comfortable 30-hour journey home.
- For dedicated Board Members, fully involved in supporting SOWERS countries in 2025.
- For the growth of the ministry through seminars taught in October: Level 3 (Emmanuel) in Tanzania and Level 4 (Godfrey) in Mozambique.
- That all Sowers with land will have resources to grow crops, get rain at the right times, reap bountiful harvests, and have enough food.
CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC (CAR)
Praise
- The Lord for his infinite grace in supporting Maurice, the trainer, as well as the national committee president during their illnesses.
- Bless God for Bethesda Mission Church outreach.
Pray
- For December 2025 consolidated elections. May God Himself grant peace at this politically sensitive time.
- For training scheduled for 2026 — that the Almighty will be at work for success.
- That God will support the national committee in its ministry
CONGO (DRC)
Praise
- For health restored to a seriously ill Sower in Lubumbashi.
- For a new church established in the middle of the bush by 15 people from TORA, thanks to Level 3 Efraïm’s evangelism.
- For outdoor meetings organized in Ariwara, at PK51, in Isiro, Wamba, and Makoro in the Haut-Uele Province. Many new believers joined local churches.
Pray
- For the political situation negatively affecting society.
- For Sowers’ spiritual commitment to their respective churches.
GHANA
Praise
- For successful outreach to 28 people by Accra Diocese Sowers’ team; counselling to 2 by the Mt.Olivet team and to 10 by the Bohyen Presby team.
Pray
- That Sowers teams follow up new converts effectively and for converts’ favourable responses to follow-up lessons.
- That Kumasi Diocese and Kumasi South Presbytery will respond positively to the SOWERS program.
- For a successful proposed plan to visit Sowers teams in the Kumasi metropolis in the first quarter, 2026.
INDIA
Praise
- To God that, though unable to conduct open air meetings during intense persecution in July, we were able to train 35 people from 25 churches through individual contact.
- That from July to September, 126 people heard the Gospel, 27 received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, 7 were baptized and 8 house churches planted. All glory to God for this fruitful season.
- And thank God for souls saved and continuous growth of churches amidst persecution.
Pray
- That God will enable us to conduct the open-air programs planned for the rest of 2025.
- For plans for an Advent Christmas program for believers in the relief camp on 18 December and that the Lord will provide for, guide and bless every aspect.
- For believers who have backslidden due to ongoing persecution, that they may be strengthened in faith and restored to the Lord
KENYA
Praise
- For the zeal and commitment of the three core individuals at Mile Sita and the five elderly women at Nakuru Globe Church, proving that dedication is better than large numbers.
- And thank God for our children’s successful academic progress and for the personal time taken for health maintenance (dental work), enabling sustained ministry service.
- For peace and safety experienced by the SOWERS team and partners throughout the region, allowing ministry to continue.
- And thank God for the productive meeting in October with the Interim SI Board in Tanzania, which ensures resource alignment and strategic direction
Pray
- For God’s provision to facilitate the planned Ugandan follow-up visit (project) scheduled for early December.
- For resources to investigate the possibility of starting SOWERS ministry work in Ethiopia.
- For the successful procurement and printing of specialised ministry resources, counselling booklets, and follow-up materials.
- For clear direction, attendance, and fruitfulness for key Q4 training events: the Timboroa Global Gospel Seminar and the Butere BAF Seminar.
- That National Coordinators across East Africa are effective and active in their roles, and for provision, protection, and good health for their families and children's schools.
- For divine favour, safety, and provision for the 2026 follow-up deputation to Zambia to bolster long-term partnerships and support.
MALAWI
Praise
- For Peaceful Presidential General Elections and amicable transition of power.
- For successful Level 2 & 4 seminars Amos conducted in Tete province in Mozambique, training Innocent to Level 4.
- For successful Level 1& 2 seminars in the southern region — 187 people responded to the gospel at several open-air meetings conducted by a new Sowers Team.
- For 61 churches planted along Malawi’s Lake-shores by 23 Level 3 Senior Sowers in 8 districts over the past two years.
Pray
- For Malawians currently facing a severe food crisis, driven by climate shocks, economic decline, and high food prices, and affecting ±4 million people and SOWERS operations.
- For forthcoming Level 3 seminars in the southern region in December 2025.
MOZAMBIQUE

- For safety God granted to Evaristo and Joseph as they travelled to Kalaba in Kaputa District and Katuta in Lupososhi District.
- For the successful training of Level 1s, Level 2s and Level 3s in Lusaka, Luapula South, Luapula North and on the Copperbelt.
- For 13 Sowers trained at Level 3 and 6 Sowers trained at Level 1 on the Copperbelt.
- For 20 people who gave their lives to Jesus on the Copperbelt and 50 who accepted Jesus in Lusaka at Mungule Conference.
- For God's healing mercies on ill Sowers.
