INTERNATIONAL
Praise
- For the protection of our Sowers families.
- For all open-air meetings held.
- For all training seminars held.
Pray
- For provision and protection of Sowers and their families everywhere.
Praise
- For enabling grace for Selwyn when three family members passed away in the last six months.
- For Australian Board members’ faithfulness.
Pray
- For recruitment of younger Board Members.
- That National Boards are sensitive to needs, aware of issues to resolve, and supportive of Senior Sowers and Provincial/Regional Committees.
- For health/wellbeing for faithful supporters.
BOTSWANA
Praise
- For the team trained in 2025, whose faithfulness in applying SOWERS skills has enabled them to reach their communities with the gospel.
- To God for Ian and Liz, who continue to show interest and faithfully coordinate the SOWERS program.
- For opportunities to develop the SOWERS Program further.
Pray
- For a Level 2 seminar planned for June.
- For Ian and David, as they coordinate churches for SOWERS training opportunities.
- That God will raise faithful men to spearhead the SOWERS Program.
CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC (CAR)
CONGO (DRC)
Praise
- Thanks to God for help to follow up and finish all training of Sowers through mentor Emmanuel.
- For the 12 people who recently accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Pray
- For peace in DRC so the ministry can advance.
- For the visit SOWERS President Rodwell and Godfrey will make in July.
- In June 2026, we want to start training of Sowers in Durba town, in Uele Province.
COTE d’IVOIRE
GHANA
Praise
- To God for good health for staff and families and for the peace we are enjoying as a country.
- And thank God that we were able to find a replacement, for the ailing treasurer of the Accra committee.
Pray
- For the health of the retired Accra committee treasurer.
- For good responses from pastors contacted in Tema, Greater Accra, Asante South Presbytery.
- For the planned Level 1 seminar in June and for Kwame and Eric as they visit teams in the Kumasi area in June.
INDIA
Praise
- To God that although Jay has had back pain for a long time, by the grace of God, he is doing well.
Pray
- For 53 deltas inhabited by Hindu and Muslim people who haven’t heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The need for training and resources is urgent to support Sowers Ministry.
- Pray for good health and safety for all Sowers, especially those facing persecution.
KENYA
Praise
- Thank God for 117 souls won and 300 leaders reached last quarter. Lives are changed and a church strengthened for the mission.
- To God for clearly leading us to Ethiopia. The way is paved, strategy is set, and the favour of locals is a direct answer to prayer.
- For testimonies from pastors amazed at how our simple visual tools break through barriers. Praise God! The Gospel is being made clear.
Pray
- For our Level 2 seminars in Nakuru and Nairobi, for sharp minds for facilitators and bold hearts for pastors being equipped.
- That the Lord sharpens local leaders like Pastor Amos, to be master communicators of Truth.
- For strategic June meetings, divine wisdom to select the right faithful men and women to lead the new work in the vast nation of Ethiopia.
MALAWI
Praise
- For provision and protection for all Sowers in Malawi and Southern Africa Region.
- For 44 churches started in the Southern African Region through SOWERS in 2025.
- For training materials in local languages.
Pray
- For July’s Conference for Senior Sowers.
- For Senior Sowers serving in Muslim dominated communities who are still faithful despite frequent persecution.
MOZAMBIQUE
Praise
- For visits to new churches planted by Sowers in the Provinces of Zambezia, Nampula and Tete.
- For the visit by the National Director to the Provincial Boards in Zambezia and Niassa.
- For the meeting of the National and Provincial Boards.
Pray
- For the supply of training materials.
- For resources to finish the house.
- For solutions to fuel shortages and rising transport costs so visits to new converts and new churches can continue.
- For God’s guidance of the National and Provincial Boards.
NAMIBIA
Praise
- To God that Shofar Church is serving as the SOWERS team in Namibia.
- For faithful Sowers, men and women, reaching out to communities at open-air meetings.
- For Godfrey's recent visit to Namibia to train Bertie and Daniel at Level 4.
Pray
- For Bertie and Daniel as they coordinate the SOWERS Program in Namibia.
- For faithful men and women for a National Board to oversee SOWERS Namibia activities.
- For Bertie and Daniel to complete their Level 4 training in August.
NEPAL
Praise
- That God is faithful and gracious and advancing His kingdom in the nation.
- That God is providing all needs and using His messengers for witness.
- That God is mobilizing His people everywhere.
Pray
- For more seminars to prepare His servants.
- For resources to prepare for seminars.
- That teams connect right across Nepal.
NEW ZEALAND
Praise
- For God’s faithfulness, provision and the good health we are enjoying.
- For Senior Sowers taking ownership in planning and preparing for the ministry’s future.
- For ministry expansion that is taking place in terms of countries and worker numbers.
Pray
- For a time of refreshing as Christine and I live in another region of NZ for the next 4 months.
- For the Governance Board, President, National Boards, Regional Advisors, along with Dan and Judy as they fulfil their vital NZ based roles.
- For discernment and wisdom for David and me as we lead and guide the ministry.
RWANDA
TANZANIA
Praise
- To God for the upcoming visit of the Regional Advisor in July and for the guidance provided during planning.
- And thank the Lord for successful completion of SOWERS Level 1 training and the commitment shown by participants.
- And thanks for God’s hand of protection over our leaders and members during the recent periods of unrest and protests.
Pray
- For the finalization of the SOWERS registration in Tanzania, asking for favour to complete the process without further delays.
- For provision of funds needed to print SOWERS materials, so that we have the resources needed for our training and outreach.
- For the Regional Advisor’s visit in July—safety and success in all meetings and a spirit of unity and love among all SOWERS facilitators as they work together.
UGANDA
Praise
- To God for a successful vision-casting trip to Zombo District, where 16 key church leaders and a Bishop warmly embraced the SOWERS program.
- And thank God for the great harvest last quarter, with 42 people coming to Christ through Richard’s open-airs and another 57 through Paul’s meetings in IB*.
- To God for testimonies of immediate family impact, like the man in Ibanda who got saved and brought his wife to Christ the very next day.
Pray
- For scheduled SOWERS training in Zombo during the first week of August and for smooth coordination with the bishop.
- For outreach trips from April to June, especially the church-planting missions in Nal* & Kit*.
- For the National Board as they review the trainers' business plans and pray for the provision of full-time staff, and the Acholi language translation.
USA
Praise
- That Donni’s ankle is healing well and that, although it still hurts, walking is good.
- That Steve Mattson joined the Board and for opportunities to cooperate on SOWERS projects.
- For our faithful donors.
Pray
- That, as Donni has begun work on the video presentation to present to churches, she will understand the program she is working with and create a good product.
- For wisdom in the use of his time for Duane as he is so busy with his company.
- For more donors to be added this year!
ZAMBIA
Praise
- For successful visits to various teams in the country and for the seminars planned.
- For new churches planted and the steady growth of congregants.
- For the success of all the good work done.
Pray
- For the success of all planned activities in all provinces and for protection and guidance as Sowers to go and sow the word.
- That Level 3 & 5 training seminars will be held in Northwestern Province by the end of June, and that God strengthens the active Sowers teams in the province.
- For the establishment of a farming project on the Sowers farm in Northwestern Province.
ZIMBABWE
Praise
- For Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 training conducted at Epworth in April at Epworth Faith Ministries.
- For the new doors that are opening.
- For new teams that have been trained in Chiredzi and Harare last quarter.
Pray
- For fruitful outcomes for the seminars that have been planned this quarter. Pray that these would strengthen and encourage Sowers to go out and sow.
- For Godfrey’s visit in August.
