We praise God for His faithfulness throughout the Malawi Field Academy, which has now been completed. During the Academy, the Lord brought together committed participants from several nations and equipped them for effective ministry and mission service. It proved to be a rich season of learning, spiritual formation, leadership development, and practical outreach.
Through teaching, mentoring, worship, and fellowship, the men and women grew in their understanding of God’s mission and their role in advancing His Kingdom. This time has been significant not only for those who attended but also for the future of ministry across Malawi and the wider Southern, Eastern, and West African regions.
We thank God for the privilege of investing in the next generation of mission workers, and we thank our supporters and prayer partners for faithfully upholding the Academy. We rejoice that God has raised and equipped resilient, Christ centred servants who will make a lasting difference in Malawi and beyond.

Praise
• For the successful Level 2 seminar which trained 14 people.
• For lives being saved in Botswana as the result of Level 2 training.
Pray
• That the newly trained Level 2 team will apply their training faithfully.
• For more opportunities for the SOWERS program in Botswana.
• That God will raise faithful men to lead the SOWERS program in Botswana.
CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC (CAR)
Praise
• God for His Infinite Love.
• For the life He continues to give us.
• For peace in our country despite insecurity.
Pray
• Pray concerning the outbreak of cholera in the 2 sub-prefectures of the country.
• For an end to the insecurity that is debilitating the country, hindering activities within CAR.
• For the recovery of our committee chair who suffered a stroke.
CONGO (DRC)
Praise
• And thanks to God for the successful seminar with 35 women for 4 days in July.
Pray
• For God’s protection over our families and church against the Ebola outbreak in our province.
• For God's help during open-air evangelism in Ariwara in September.
COTE d’IVOIRE
GHANA
Praise
• For God's Provision for SOWERS staff and families.
• For safe travels on our roads.
• For a successful SOWERS Level 1 Seminar for Owoshika Presbyterian Church.
Pray
• For Evangelism and Level 1 Training for a Team from Apostles Continuation Church from 24th- 26 Sept.
• That the Asante Presbytery will confirm and settle on specific training dates for September through December, as discussed.
• For more open doors into various denominations.
• For Samuel as he seeks funding to buy his own house.
INDIA
Praise
• To God for healing from illness for the 40 people we counselled and prayed for after a SOWERS open-air meeting.
• God for the 16 open-air meetings Jay was able to hold in villages of Sundarbans, West Bengal.140 people heard the gospel and 45 people accepted Christ.
• That, though still on medication, Jay’s wife and parents’ health is improving.
Pray
• For 53 delta regions still to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ.
• For new Sowers, training resources, sketch boards, and provision for travel and translation of counselling booklets and Bibles into Bengali.
• For our children's salvation and education.
KENYA
Praise
• To God for a successful mission to Tanzania, training SOWERS Levels 2 ,3, and 4.
• For a successful Conference in Ethiopia and the plan for Ethiopia to attend the Academy.
• For being able to attend the Field Academy with our Ethiopian brothers who will go and establish SOWERS in Ethiopia.
Pray
• For resources to establish SOWERS in Ethiopia, for printing materials, translation work and for buying SOWERS equipment.
• For new believers that are trusting in the Lord through open-air meetings by Sowers teams to be established in their faith
• That Emmanuel’s deputation to Zambia will be successful - for God's protection, good health, and provision.
MALAWI
Praise
• For the successful SOWERS Field Academy held in Lilongwe.
• For God's protection and provision for Senior Sowers and their families.
• For 67 open-air meetings held during the SOWERS Field Academy and souls saved.
Pray
• For lives saved during the SOWERS Field Academy in Lilongwe and that the seed of the gospel sown will germinate and bear fruit.
• For men and women who attended the SOWERS Field Academy, that they will use their training effectively in their countries.
• For 8 teams trained at Level 1 and 2 during the SOWERS Field Academy, that they will use the training to reach out to surrounding villages.
MOZAMBIQUE
Praise
• For open-air meetings that were held in several areas and the Level 1, 2, 3 and 5 seminars that were held in Zambezia and Niassa Province.
• For the meeting of the National Board and Provincial Committees.
• For visits from new converts.
Pray
• For the Regional Advisor's visit (16 - 28 September) and for the seminars planned.
• For the Annual Conference on 26 Sept at Molumbo and for the National Board and Provincial Committees meeting.
• For God’s supply for manuals which are lacking and for visits to new converts and new churches planted by Sowers.
NAMIBIA
Praise
• To God that Bertie and Daniel attended the SOWERS Field Academy in Malawi.
• For open-air meetings conducted recently in Namibia.
• For a recent Level 1 seminar conducted in Khorixas in Namibia.
Pray
• That God will grow the SOWERS ministry in Namibia.
• For gifted men and women to form the first SOWERS National Board in Namibia.
• For faithful men who are available to mentor Daniel and Bertie as they grow in the Lord.
NEPAL

• To God for His grace, love, mercy, and faithfulness.

UGANDA
Praise
• To God for the fervent desire for SOWERS training among local church leaders in Zombo, Paida, and Karamoja and their eagerness to reach their communities with the Gospel.
• For promising progress in SOWERS national pre-registration process, guided by legal professionals navigating required policies.
• For dedicated field trainers and board members committed to serving, adapting, and moving the mission forward despite local challenges.
Pray
• For an end to Ebola health restrictions along the border so that postponed training in Zombo and Paida can safely resume in September.
• For God’s intervention through rain, food supply, and relief from drought and hunger in Karamoja, enabling postponed ministry schedules in Soroti and nearby areas to go on.
• For divine wisdom for SOWERS Uganda Board and God's favour through the law firm to successfully complete the national registration process without unnecessary delays.
Pray
• That Donni, will find missing footage to complete a SOWERS video for churches.
• For her sister's quick recovery and job protection after major surgery, and for Donni who will spend 7 weeks helping her.

• Thanks to God for successful Levels 1, 3 and 5 seminars and for the successful outreach in Kawaya, Shantumbu, and Linda compounds.
• For donors and prayer partners who stand with us and for the Gospel Tract and Bible Society who have offered us free tracts in English and Bemba.
• For open-air evangelism in Ntindi village (20 saved) in Katozi village (15 saved), and for door-to-door evangelism (14 saved and 2 delivered).
