These Sowers help churches reach their communities more effectively. SOS is a handy acronym for Support of Sowers (staff, not SOWERS the Mission). Gifts for SOS go to front line trainers teaching churches the theory and practice of outdoor evangelism.
Sowers go by invitation of churches that want to reach their communities for Christ more effectively. Sowers have the language, the training and other abilities needed for this work. They have the time too, if partners can release them from working to feed their families. A well-supported family that cannot afford ministry costs achieves little. Therefore an amount to cover these costs is added to personal needs to reach the support figure we pray for.
