Multinational Projects
Partnership takes many forms. One is when people with money (comparatively speaking) partner with Sowers that have the opportunity, gifting and training to enable church training and planting. We present partnership opportunities as 'projects'.
How is a project approved? Is the process robust? What accountability is there? Good questions! Click here for answers
S O S - Support of Sowers
Our most frequent need. Partial or complete support, one-time or regular, all help to meet the basic needs of a national Sower, Amazingly, only USD10 per day average is needed to support a Sower. That's about the same as cafe coffee for two! Could your small group, your Church, or perhaps you personally, give full or part support of one Sower? What a wonderfully cost-effective way to be a partner in the Gospel.

Emergency Care Fund
Emergency Care in SOWERS is defined as a sudden, unexpected event requiring immediate action due to potential threat to health and safety, the environment, or property. Examples include a major health issue that requires immediate treatment or hospitalisation; the damage or destruction of a house that leaves a Sower and his family homeless.

The proposal is for Emmanuel K. to return to his native Zambia to conduct two-months of deputation and spend time with his family and church from September to December, 2026. This deputation covers seven provinces where Emmanuel will lead weekly church services and Pastors' Fellowships. These meetings are designed to promote mission and encourage partnership. The visit also incorporates family time and taking a break. Emmanul's wife will be with him for the first month before returning to Kenya. Their daughter will stay for the duration of the visit to renew her passport and seek job opportunities.

My recent March visit to Ethiopia confirmed the door is open, but the work cannot flourish without a dedicated team of leaders. This visit will allow face-to-face meetings with key church leaders representing a number of denominations, to identify key people. Also, by leading a workshop at the Christian Brethren International Conference, I will address the need for a formal platform to promote SOWERS to a wider audience. This promotion is vital for securing the long-term "member support" and the backing required to grow the work from a pilot project into a self-sustaining national program.

This project is to provide vital financial assistance to support the growth and development of the ministry in Namibia. They are seeing it grow in Okahandja, the coastal city of Walvis Bay, and the bustling northern town of Ondangwa. Despite personal hardships, Bertie and Daniel, remain committed to advancing the SOWERS ministry. This project will provide funding for ministry development so they can continue doing the work they love.
